How we update prices

Every price on this site is the price our retail partner showed at our last catalog update. The catalog was last updated on October 5, 2026. If the price at checkout differs, the checkout price is the one you pay.

What we update

Prices, whether each product is in stock, and the star rating with its count. A product that runs out leaves the shop at the next update and comes back when it is offered again.

What stays put

Nutrition and ingredient lines are copied from our labels and change only when a label changes. Recipes and guides change when we rewrite them, and each guide shows the date we read its sources.

Where the facts come from

Label figures come from the jar and the pouch. Food-safety facts come from USDA FSIS and FDA pages, and our guides name every page they rely on.

Every figure on this site is held to the Tizon approach: the label first, the update date on this page, and a source for every claim. Our notes on sodium, the carne seca label and storage list every public source they rely on.
